Ross Unger and his musical The Man in the Iron Mask became a finalist in annual Pratt Prize musical competition.
He was selected along with Matthew Robinson's musical Atlantis, Gary Young's Bim Bom, Anthony Costanzo's Life's A Circus, Brian Fitzgerald's Flinders Street, The Lady Of The Swamp by Jane Hobson Chambers and Patricia Freeman and Florence by Anthony Crowley.

Pratt Prize finalists announced

Paul Keelan and Gary YoungPaul Keelan and Gary Young's musical Bim Bom is amongst the musicals shortlisted for this year's Pratt Prize.
Keelan and Young are best known for their Australian musical Sideshow Alley, which premiered in Brisbane.
It was to play in Sydney earlier this year but its season was cancelled.
In 2008, The Pratt Prize for Music Theatre will be awarded as a commission to one or more recipients.
Joining Bim Bom as finalists is Anthony Costanzo's Life's A Circus,
Brian Fitzgerald's Flinders Street, The Man In The Iron Mask by Ross Unger,
The Lady Of The Swamp by Jane Hobson Chambers and Patricia Freeman and Florence by Anthony Crowley.
A new Matthew Robinson musical, Atlantis, is also amongst the finalists.
Robinson's Metro Street - a previous Pratt Prize winner - premieres in Adelaide next year (2009).
